Our favorite killer clown is back to break the highest kill and box office records. Damian Leone delivers a work of art that is both beautiful and terrifying at the same time.
“Welcome to the show you’ll never leave;
“Because there is nothing subjective because it stabs and cuts and cuts.”
Beauty is in the eye of the beheading tonight;
The devil is in the details and it is painted white

It seems like every generation will have a favorite horror character and a scream queen who will keep us entertained as long as the franchise lasts, like Freddy Krueger with Nancy Thompson (Nightmare on Elm Street); Michael Myers with Laurie Strode (Halloween); And Ghostface with Sidney Prescott (Scream) to list a few examples. With the Terrifier franchise, it’s no different as we see Art the Clown and Sienna as the two counterparts in a bloody, fantastic saga. I really hope we get to see more movies in the Terrifier series.

I highly encourage diving into the prequels before seeing Terrifier 3 on the big screen. Below are details of the prequels in the Terrifier franchise.

A babysitter finds a VHS tape showing several sinister murders carried out by a psychotic clown. The film was released on October 29, 2013.

Although All Hallows Eve 2 was released in 2015, the movie did not include Art the Clown, but you can still watch it as it follows the same format as the previous movie All Hallows Eve which was released in 2013.

Plot
After surviving Art the Clown’s Halloween massacre, Sienna and her brother struggle to rebuild their shattered lives. As the holiday season approaches, they try to embrace the spirit of Christmas and leave the horrors of the past behind them. But just when they think they’re safe, Art the Clown returns, determined to turn holiday cheer into a new nightmare. The holiday season quickly unfolds when Art unleashes his own twisted form of horror, proving that no holiday is safe.

review
This film picks up right where we left off at the end of Terrifier 2. We are soon re-introduced to Lauren LaVera as Sienna, the film’s main protagonist. She plays her role very well and we see more screen time from her than from her brother who also played a big role in the prequel.
As usual, Terrifier 3 does not disappoint with its gory scenes and will leave you on the edge of your seat with all the creative killing and torture scenes narrated by Art the Clown. When compared to previous films, Art explores new ways to terrorize victims and audience alike. From children to the elderly, no one is safe from the clown and his bag of tricks. David Howard Thorton plays Art and gives a really great performance. We see a short-lived guest appearance by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE)’s Chris Jericho as well Samantha Scafidi She returns as Vicki Hayes, the survivor from the first film. This time she has more screen time as well.

Lauren Lavera as Sienna Shaw (IMDb)
Although there are many more victims this time, the golden thread remains attached to the story that was established from the first film onwards. While Sienna wasn’t there from the beginning, her role became very important in Terrifier’s story
The film unfortunately doesn’t leave us with a post-credits scene, but the ending is certainly promising, making me confident that we haven’t seen the last part of Art the Clown.
I rate the Terrifier 3 a 5 out of 5. Damien Leone delivered an “artistic” work that needed to be experienced on the big screen. I look forward to seeing more of both Art and Sienna as they work in the Terrifier franchise. Be prepared to be terrified. I highly recommend this film not for sensitive viewers. A few people walked out of the cinema because of the violent and bloody scenes in this movie. With the film’s story set during Christmas, Art the Clown is definitely a treat during the Halloween season.
Somewhere in the movie you can hear the song “A Work of Art” performed by Ice Nine Kills. In the music video, you’ll see some action from Art the Clown. And here is the music video as well:
You can also catch the song on Spotify by checking out and following the artist:Â
Here’s the trailer Terrifying 3 (Bloody disgusting horror). Catch a cinema near you. It is important to note that the film was not available in all cinemas in Cape Town, South Africa, and I have a feeling it may be the same in other countries as well.
