The grandmother remembered that Blue had to dance in front of 70,000 people every night, and then he revealed the secret, saying:

Despite their close relationship, Knowles did not hesitate to correct her granddaughter when necessary.
The 71-year-old mother confirmed speculation that she scolded Rumi on stage when she joined Beyoncé and her daughters. “It was real, it was real life,” Knowles said. “Grandmothers don’t play.”
