I tried Elizavecca Collagen Coating Hair A+ Muscle Essence – here’s how it worked

How does your hair deal with silicone? I know that in some hair types, silicones act like heavy grease, weighing down the strands and making them look lifeless. Conditioners and hair serums that contain silicones leave my hair smooth, shiny, and super soft to the touch. So, when I discover a new product, my first question isn’t whether or not it contains silicone, but rather how good the formula is.
About Elizavecca Collagen Polish Essence CER-100
As I mentioned earlier, Elizavecca Collagen Coating Essence* is part of the brand’s popular CER-100 hair care line, which focuses on intense protein and nourishment for damaged hair. It is generally an essence or hair oil designed to provide daily hydration and a protective “coating” to the hair strands. The main task here is to nourish, strengthen and soften damaged, frizzy or rough hair.
With just a drop of its therapeutic texture, Elizavecca Collagen Coating Essence promises to rejuvenate dull and damaged hair, leaving it shiny and smooth again.
Packaging:
Elizavecca’s CER-100 line is known for its bright orange color palette and the main character’s flaming red mane. I love everything from the original art design to the shape of the bottle and the convenience of the dispenser. With a little care, you can turn the pictures on Elizavecca boxes into a one-of-a-kind paper doll.
Texture and smell:
The collagen hair polish essence has a silky texture with a slight stickiness. It is neither thick nor runny. Imagine a mixture of hyaluronic acid, silicone hair conditioner, and smoothing oil – All the softness and closure of these ingredients are united in the formula. The scent is soft and herbal. It somehow reminds me of herbal tea with spices or those popular gels for coughs and chest congestion, but a softer and sweeter version. He’s so cute.
ingredients:
Of course, I can’t consider my review to be detailed without diving into the ingredients and their benefits for the hair. Let’s start with the three silicone ingredients that form the base of the formula and give the essence its distinctive, smooth and spreadable texture. – Cyclopentasiloxane, dimethicone, desiloxane. These silicones are volatile silicones, which means they evaporate quickly, leaving a lightweight, non-greasy feel and reducing product drying time.
When it comes to supporting secondary ingredients, Elizavecca added everything we could want to get that shine and nourishment. Here you can find sweet orange oil, known for its moisturizing, antioxidant and antimicrobial properties. Evening primrose oil, rich in essential fatty acids (such as linoleic acid) that acts as a skin moisturizing agent, helping to soften and moisturize the skin and hair. And of course argan oil – Essential for soft and nourished strands.
CER-100 Hair Collagen Coating A+ Muscle Essence VS CER-100 Essential Oil
So what is the difference between these two very similar products? When it comes to packaging and sizing, there are a lot of similarities; However, the hair essence is slightly larger (+50ml). The nomenclature is also similar and therefore may be very confusing for the buyer. As for the ingredients, you will be able to notice similarities and differences. While both products are based on the same base, such as silicone, CER-100 Essence Oil features macadamia, avocado, sunflower and soybean oils, which are absent in Collagen Coating Hair Essence.
The Essence oil formula is also covered in tocopherol, an antioxidant with vitamin E activity, which is not present in Hair Essence. The main difference, of course, lies in the hydrolyzed collagen. If you feel like your damaged hair could use an extra boost, I recommend getting a bottle of Collagen Coating Hair Essence.
The texture is almost the same, but the fragrance is different. While Hair Essence has a spicy scent, reminding me of herbs or medicine, Essence Oil smells sweet, almost like sweets. Overall, the Collagen Coating Hair A+ Muscle Essence seems to be a bit richer in ingredients and enhanced with collagen, while the Elizavecca Cer-100 Hair Muscle Essence Oil has much fewer ingredients and is more focused on hydration, rather than treatment.
How to use?
Elizavecca Collagen Coating Hair Essence is designed as a daily leave-in treatment. It can be applied to wet and dry hair.
- 1. Start with a very small amount, usually a pea size or 1-2 pumps, depending on the length and thickness of your hair. This is a concentrated essence, so less is often more. You can always add more later.

- 2. Rub the distributed amount between your palms for a few seconds. This warms the product slightly, allowing for easier and more even application and absorption into the hair shaft.

- 3. Gently smooth the texture into the middle and ends of your hair. Focus on dry, rough areas and split ends, as this is where collagen and other hydrating ingredients are needed most to create the protective ‘layer’.

My experience:
In my opinion, there is no better product for straight and damaged hair. It detangles excellently, softens and protects the skin from further damage. Personally, I prefer to use Hair Essence on damp hair, so the Tangle Teezer can smoothly pass through the hair without tearing it out. All this, of course, if your hair can tolerate the product’s silicone base.
The real fix here is regular use. As with skin care, it is important to use a hair repair product consistently and eliminate any further damage to the hair strands. To see results, you’ll need to gently wash, condition and detangle your hair carefully. It is also best to stay away from hot hair dryers, flat irons and hair curlers. Just let your hair rest and breathe, and don’t forget to nourish it. This is exactly what I plan to do!
Final Verdict…
Moisturizing: ðŸ’ðŸ’ðŸ’💎 (10/10)
Texture: ðŸ’ðŸ’ðŸ’💎(9/10)
Overall: ðŸ’ðŸ’ðŸ’💎 (9/10)
