A closer look at her lanyard reveals the name tag “LionTree”, and she is addressed as “Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice of York”. While “His Royal Highness” correctly represents her status as a member of the royal family, the suffix “York” is no longer accurate.
Although royal children traditionally inherit elements of their parents’ titles, Beatrice’s official name changed following her 2020 marriage to real estate developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

According to the royal family’s official website, she is now known as “Princess Beatrice, Mrs. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.” Likewise, her sister is listed as “Princess Eugenie, Mrs. Jack Brooksbank.” People magazine.

Prince Andrew is bending his labels in a shocking latest move
The discovery of the error in Beatrice’s name tag came after Andrew announced he would give up his remaining royal titles.
In his statement, reported by The Blast, the disgraced prince said that, after consulting with King Charles and other senior officials, he agreed to step down from his positions. He also maintained his innocence regarding the sexual assault allegations against him.
In this light, Andrew was no longer Duke of York, which was his most prominent and defining title. He also gave up his position in the Order of the Garter, Britain’s oldest and most prestigious knightly order, and renounced his rank as Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order, a personal honor once bestowed by Queen Elizabeth II.

While Prince Andrew gave up the honours, his daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie were unaffected.

Meanwhile, Beatrice’s royal status may face uncertainty following recent reports that Prince William has threatened to reconsider her unless she forces her father out of the royal lodge.
As he covered the explosion, journalist Emily Maitlis implied that the Prince of Wales had met the sisters, and allegedly told them: “You need to convince your father to move out of the Royal Lodge, or we will have to start reconsidering the status of your own titles.”
Maitlis added that the situation naturally puts Andrew in a difficult position as a father trying to protect his daughters and their privileges.
