
Bears’ Rome Odunze Credits Girlfriend During the Year Rollerocaster (except)

“I really don’t care about anyone’s advice on that side of things,” he explained. “All my voices of reason and things like that come from inside the building and from people I trust close to my circle. When it comes to all this outside talk, I think that’s the best way to deal with it.”
One of those trusted confidants is the Bears’ quarterback Caleb Williamsthe Bears selected No. 1 overall in the 2024 NFL Draft, the same year Chicago selected Odunze ninth overall.
“I have a good relationship with him, man,” Udunze said. “This is one of my dogs, one of my brothers. Obviously going into this together is a unique experience. We’ve been through the ebbs and flows of the NFL season and we understand the different emotions that you go through. We’re continuing to grow, but it’s been great.”
In addition to his blossoming chemistry with his midfielder, Odunze credited his partnership with Invisalign for helping him correct his condition.
“The biggest thing is the confidence you bring to me, on and off the field, just a good smile,” the receiver said. “But it’s not just about the smile. Taking care of your oral health is a huge positive. I’m one of those success stories.”
Odunze and the Bears travel to Cincinnati to take on the Bengals on Sunday, November 2.
