The two-time Super Bowl champion, 44, shared a photo of his son via Instagram On Friday, October 31, Charlie, 7, appeared smiling in his blue No. 6 car Jackson Dart Jersey, complete with a replica of Dart’s famous “good luck” pendant.
Dart, 22, is a rookie for the Giants this year and has thrown for 984 yards with eight touchdowns in seven games.
“Charlie said he wanted to dress up as the nygiants’ favorite quarterback of all time for Halloween… I think he got his wish,” Eli wrote in the caption.
Eli spent his entire career with the Giants, from 2004 to 2019, where he made four Pro Bowls and earned a spot in the team’s Ring of Honor. Dart, 22, takes to the field every week wearing the diamond-encrusted necklace, which belonged to his younger sister, as part of a routine he started in college at the University of Mississippi.
“So, my little sister had it, and it was hers,” the rookie explained during a press conference in May. “It was before the bowl game, and as I was leaving the house over Christmas — a little break before the bowl game — and I saw this in her room. And I was like, ‘You know, I kind of like that.’
“So, I put it on and have been lucky ever since,” he added.
